Information

NEW HIRING PROCESS: Beginning mid-August (TBD), students with Work Study awards may apply for jobs here. This application step will be required for each job, whether seeking first time employment at CIM or as a returning student applying for a new job. If you are a returning student AND have already discussed returning to the SAME job you held in the prior year, your supervisor needs to email financialaid@cim.edu with the details (which specific job) and all other processes must be complete (annual WS Contract signed, no missing aid documents, etc.).

If you do not see job(s) you expect on your TimesheetX account, check your Populi account (financial> financial aid tabs) and make sure all required items are complete. Work may not begin and jobs cannot be added to your TimesheetX account until all related items are complete, including New Hire Paperwork, with the required ID already presented to Human Resources Office, WS Contract (required annually), and Federal Verification (if applicable), prior school final transcripts, etc. You may not begin working (your hire date may not be determined) until all required items are on file with the Financial Aid, Registrar and Payroll offices, as applicable.

Important Information

Login will be automatic via CIM's Single Sign One via Office 365 as of 11/29/22.

  • Mandatory Rules for all student workers and all jobs listed below. More detail is found on the annual Work Study Contract.  Violations may result in cancellation of award and termination of all jobs effective immediately:

    • All time entered into your timesheets must represent the actual dates and times worked.
    • You may never work during a scheduled class/lesson time.
    • No more than 20 hours per week may be worked (based on a Monday-Sunday workweek), all jobs combined, while school is in session.
  • You must either enter your time worked or "dismiss" a time sheet for every job for every pay period. Simply click on the job title(s) to open that record, you will see all timesheets so far for that job. You MUST complete an action of entering hours or dissmissing otherwise the system thinks you are simply delinquent in turning in your time worked. If you do not intend to work a particular job you see listed, let us know and we will make it "inactive." If the supervisor or admin (Fin Aid or Payroll) "un-dismisses" a time sheet, only the supervisor or admin may enter hours; if the student "un-dismisses" a timesheet, then the student may also enter the hours directly.

  • Note to international students who do not yet have a Social Security Card: Your TX account cannot be created until the actual card has arrived and you have presented it to CIM Payroll. Assuming all other papeerwork is on file and you have a WS award, you will need to keep track of hours worked offline until we can set your account up here. The job(s) effective date will be backdtated to the date you were legally allowed to be working.
